ABOUT US
Casey Haeg is an improviser, performer, and teacher from Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Minnesota - Duluth with a BFA in Stage Management.
Casey has been performing in the Twin Cities since 2010. Casey was a main stage performer at ComedySportz Twin Cities, and HUGE Theater. During her time performing Casey realized how important and beneficial improv can be on and off the stage. She started teaching improv in 2014, and has had the privilege of teaching people all over the Twin Cities the power of "yes, and". The most important lessons Casey thinks you can learn from Improv are: being present, being open to what is given to you, and being aware of what we are saying (verbally and non verbally). She is currently living in New Orleans with her husband, and Pug WhatWhat. |
Taj Ruler is an actor, improviser, voice over artist, and teacher in the Twin Cities. She graduated from Pitzer College with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Performance and Media Studies. She has also studied at the Guthrie Theatre, the Brave New Workshop, and The London Dramatic Academy.
As an improvisational actor, Taj works at a number of improvisational theaters in the Twin Cities including The Brave New Workshop, Theater Of Public Policy, and HUGE Theater. She additionally trained at The Groundlings in LA and Second City in Chicago. Her work and training as an improviser has allowed Taj to take more risks, grow as a scripted actor, and have a, "yes and" attitude in her every day life. As a teaching artist, Taj has taught improvisational acting at the Brave New Workshop, Macalester College, HUGE Theater, and has lead many corporate workshops demonstrating how the power of Yes, And can vastly improve the workplace environment. Her overall goals in the classroom/workshops are to create connection, to be bold and take risks, respect one another, and most of all to have fun. |
